From finance to firewalls — I secure what matters.
I’m Guillaume Gilles, a former Banque de France financial analyst who now channels a decade of risk assessment and teaching into cybersecurity.
For over ten years at the Banque de France, I decoded macroeconomic patterns, assessed corporate resilience, and produced strategic insight for decision-makers. In parallel, I taught statistics, financial analysis, and information systems at top business schools — instilling the kind of analytical rigor that translates directly into security thinking.
Today, I’m immersed in cybersecurity: ranking up on HackTheBox, learning penetration testing, and exploring digital forensics, secure network design, and incident investigation. My passion lies at the nexus of data, security safeguards, and the human behaviors that drive error.
I’m always happy to collaborate on open source projects — feel free to reach out about economy, finance, math, or machine learning too.
⚡ Fun fact: “skekCoon” is a mix of Skeksis (from The Dark Crystal) and my best friend — a Maine Coon.
